About Kris
Kris Krosskove, Cinematographer of award winning films and TV, has had a passion for photography since he was ten years old; early in his career Kris found a position working in the camera department, free-loading film at Warner Brothers Studios. Advancing his way through the studio system, Kris moved from Film Loader to First Assistant Camera where, for the next decade, he worked very closely with some of the greatest Directors of Photography in the industry. Kris had become one of the most sought-after Camera Operators in the business. He had earned a reputation for his visual sensitivity and an amazingly silky touch with a variety of specialized camera configurations including Steadicam, handheld, and all Remote Heads and Ultimate Arm. Directors trusted his intuition and his meticulous attention to detail.
Kris was consistently recognized for his abilities as an artist and technician, his visual acuity, and his innate ability to run the set; his transition from Camera Operator to Director of Photography was seamless.
For over four decades, Kris has worked with the most talented Cinematographers in the industry; through his experiences with each of them, Kris has acquired a cache of techniques and skills that, combined with his own artistic talent render consistently high-quality, visually appealing, and contextually sound work.
